Our founder
Clara Sterling
Clara Sterling founded Oxis Legacy Literary on January 31, 2010 to create a welcoming home for Black and white voices, culture and storytelling. What began as a small reading circle grew into a global community of readers who believe that every story deserves careful attention, beautiful conversation and a lasting record.
"A book club is a kind of archive," she says. "Every discussion we have is us saying: this story mattered, and we were here for it."
